Autobiography Like their contemporaries Snuff and Leatherface, Goober Patrol formed in the delayed 1980s, bringing together influences from rectitude British pop punk and American rigid scenes; reviewers have highlighted the Goobers sound as equal parts Stiff Tiny Fingers, Circle Jerks and Snuff. In the late 90s and early 2000s the Goobers toured non-stop around America, Canada and Continent with Tilt, Down By Law, Peppy Souls, Strung Out and Diesel Stripling, and made a couple of in reality stupid videos for FAT’s Peepshow compilations.
