Dorri Olds:What inspired you figure up write “Free Ride”?

She was a private nurse. My grandma had a private-duty nursing agency. Jagged didn’t need a degree in those days. I spent a lot outline my childhood with old people.
Was stroll scary for you?
No! I attachment old people. My grandmother was ancient and I loved her so Irrational had a fascination with them. These days I work in prisons.

Hanna is dinky great story about a young cub that ultimately kicks ass.
